It’s Sunday and that means it’s time for “Classic Hollywood Photos”.
When I was 19-years-old, I purchased and acquired hundreds of classic Hollywood photos from a retailer who wanted to pass his photo collection before he passed. For several decades, friends and classic cinema fans have asked me to share my collection and I decided for the purpose of identification, I’m going to start sharing photos in my collection.
For the first photo, for many years, I have been wondering what photo I have my collection is of. Part of me was saying it was Joan Crawford but then I would try to convince myself it wasn’t but recently I had the photo confirmed that it was Joan Crawford as Sadie Thompson from the 1932 film “Rain”. The Three Stooges. Unfortunately, I have no identification of what episode and who the other stars are opposite of Moe Howard, Curly Howard and Larry Fine. If anyone knows the episode and who are the two actors, please let me know.
The third photo is of Olivia de Havilland and Errol Flynn for the 1940 film “Santa Fe Trail”.
