Philippe Starck is a French designer known for his interior, product, industrial and architectural design including furniture.
In 1989, Starck would create the iconic landmark, the ASAHI SUPER DRY HALL (which the top structure unfortunately would be known by some as the golden turd).
And the other structure is in the Shirokanedai area of Minato ward, a polished aluminum building known as the Nani Nani Building (UNHEX NANI-NANI), right in Gaien Nishi-dori a.k.a. “Platinum Street”.
If you are an architecture fan, you definitely want to visit the Philippe Stark buildings, including the Nani Nani Building.
