The One about Kotobukiya in Akihabara, Part 2

I wrote about Kotobukiya back in October 2016 and I realized, that I really didn’t feature many photos.  So, for those who want the history of the company can click here.

With that out of the way, I just want to say what I love about this shop.

For one, if you are a video game or anime fan, the store offers so many things to purchase as souvenirs that Animate and other shops don’t carry.

Also, I like how the shops arrange themselves in sections for various series.

As you can see in this photo, you have a section for “Dragon Quest” and “Tales of”, for fans of these two popular Japanese RPG game.  And this is just a few of the items.  There are simply many places to pick up inexpensive (and expensive) souvenirs and merchandise.

The place is also great for Danboard merchandise and many stuff animals for various series.  But if anything, Kotobukiya a place in Akihabara that sells cool merchandise to bring niche-based souvenirs back home to friends interested in Japanese pop culture, specifically anime and video games.
