The One about Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian Medium Roast Decaffeinated Coffee K-Cups

Folgers is one of the best well-known coffee brands in the United States.

The company’s history dates back in 1850 when it was known as Pioneer Steam Coffee and Spice Mills based in San Francisco, California.

As owner Michael Eden wanted to produce roasted and ground coffee ready for brewing, in California, coffee back then had people purchasing green coffee beans and roast and grinding them.

James A. Folger was a carpenter who came to California during the Gold Rush and worked at the mill and saved his money and eventually purchased his stake in the company. And eventually became a full partner and by 1872, he would buy out all the other partners and renamed the company J.A. Folger & Co.

And the Folger family would continue to lead the brand and by 1963, Procter & Gamble would acquire Folger’s and renamed the brand to, Folgers.  And would be acquired by the J.M. Smucker Company in 2008 and made it a subsidiary.

Folgers continues with its popular brand and coffee to this day, but also other beverages.

When it comes to K-Cups, for those who have been looking for decaffeinated coffee, Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian is no doubt one of the better decaf medium roast coffee k-cups that I have tried.

Made with 100% Arabica Coffee, this is a decaf that doesn’t taste like decaf.

While I don’t drink my coffee straight, added my creamer to this coffee and it is simply delicious and just a hint of boldness.

For those who love coffee, especially those who have adverse reactions to caffeine, may want to give Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian Medium Roast Decaffeinated Coffee K-Cups a try!
