The One about Wearable Technology via GÓMEZ – Samsung EGO Innovation Project – Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid

On February 11th at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Madrid, the iconic Spanish show, organized by IFEMA, celebrated their 30 years of history welcoming new designers such as The 2nd Skin Co., Leandro Cano and Esther Noriega, and presenting Portugal as the Guest country, with a show featuring three Portuguese creators: Miguel Vieira, Anabela Baldaque and Júlio Torcato.

In addition to the 44 designers and brands were showcased at the catwalks and fifteen emerging design talents showcased their proposals —and sold them directly to the public— at the SAMSUNG EGO Showroom in Cibelespacio.

The first showcase on February 11th was from GOMEZ and the concept was wearable technology.

But one that did catch my eye is how the jackets also can be used as a survival jacket to create a tent as demonstrated in these photos.
