I have tested many digital voice recorders from high end to low end. But this time around, I am reviewing a voice recorder that actually has AI Intelligent Trancription, something you don’t come upon for digital voice recorders.
Today, I will be reviewing the the Innioasis 136GB Digital Voice Recorder with full touch screen and AI Intelligent Transcription.
The unit is like a black and has a 3.69-inch touch screen interface on the front.
This device utilizes DSP noise reduction technology and RTC intelligent noise reduction technology. Has one touch recording with the REC button, Press again to stop. Easy to use., Has a volume, you can set the T-mark.
What’s cool is it has configurations such as multiple recording modes such as General, Interview, Lecture and Pocket Modes.
The device itself comes with a 128GB SD card and is expandable to 1TB. The unit comes with a built-in 1100 mAh lithium battery and has ultra-long battery life.
So, when recording, it offers text to speech. When you play it does text to speech. Do note that when this is enabled, this will use up more battery power.
As for audio recording, it is .aac file and you can add tags to the audio file recorded.
So, is the AI Intelligent Transcription good? If you have used the Microsoft Windows transcription, I kind of liken it that way but many words are off. For example, I say “Anna walked a straight line in the distance, I don’t know what she’s doing and I don’t know why” and I get “Arena is walking the this good don’t what what she’s doing and I don’t know why”. So, similar to Windows, you’ll have to tweak the transcription.
The device comes with a USB Type-C cable and it needs a charge once out of the box.
Similar to like a Smart watch or device, you may need to do some tweaking in the settings (time/date will definitely need to be changed). But that is probably the most of it. There are slider switches if you need to turn things on such as battery saver.
Overall, the Innioasis 136GB Digital Voice Recorder with full touch screen and AI Intelligent Transcription is probably, technically one of the better digital voice recorder I have used. You are no doubt getting your money’s worth and I’m actually curious to seeing if Innoasis will contine to improve the AI transcription in future models.
The touch screen and amount of settings is more than I have ever seen in a digital voice recording device and the AI transcription is actually a game changer. But bare in mind, transcription at this time is not perfect, it’s less than perfect but it’s still a good start but it’s nowhere going to be as elaborate or memory hogging transcription of another major transcription software, but still, having a transcription device for a digital voice recorder is quite nice.
The Innioasis 136GB Digital Voice Recorder with full touch screen and AI Intelligent Transcription is a major step up compared to other digital voice recorders. Sure, some people just need something that records and an off and on switch is all they need. But for those that need tagging features, transcription and a much more elaborate system than the under $50 digital voice recorders, will find this one worth considering.
