For the latest watch review, I am reviewing the 2024 release of the BINBOND YXC-US-G920-JL Mens Watch, which has a rotatable bezel and comes with a tool to adjust the band.
BINBOND is a well-known Chinese watch manufacturer that sells its watches on many retail outlets for low prices. In fact, it’s what makes BINBOND watches so attractive to watch collectors who collect low cost Quartz watches is the fact that they are homage of luxury watches.
The BINBOND YXC-US-G920-JL Mens Watch is no doubt an homage to the classic ROLEX Submariner.
Right down to the “SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER” and “OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED”. But this is no doubt a fascinating homage offered in a variety of colors and watch band colors. So, you can choose from having black, gold, silver stainless steel or a mix of stainless steel and gold.
First, it comes with a tool, so you can adjust to your wrist size. The stainless steel band is really easy to adjust, but I do recommend having a watch tool set because while it does come with a tool, it helps to have that small hammer to strike the tool for the pin to come out and to adjust really quickly.
Case diameter is 42mm but not so huge and about somewhere in the middle. Crown extends middle to change date, all the way out for the time.
The watch hands does feature luminous hands, but I needed to charge the luminosity with my UV flashlight.
The bezel is rotating counter-clockwise.
Of course, in terms of aesthetics, it looks like a damn cool watch! But of course, when purchasing a BINBOND, you know right off the bat that you are getting a Quartz watch (runs on a battery, not by force) and you will have to change out the battery possibly every year. So, if you start to notice a lag in time, it’s time to change the battery (not hard to do it yourself, but quicker if you visit your local jeweler for battery replacement).
But in terms for those who are looking for a Pro Diver Submariner homage, the BINBOND YXC-US-G920-JL Mens Watch is probably the most affordable Submariner homage Quartz watch that you will find on Amazon.
