One of the largest outdoor and indoor holiday events to see in Tokyo, Tokyo Midtown Christmas 2024 will kick off on November 14th through December 25th.
Approximately 240,000 soap bubble illuminations will be displayed, expressing a fantastical snowy world. Snow gradually begins to fall from the Christmas streets wrapped in gold, and the scenery changes into a beautiful snowy landscape at the end. In addition to enjoying the linked sound and light performances for each scene, you can also enjoy special performances of floating soap bubbles and falling snow for a limited time.

The tree illuminations, with approximately 320,000 golden lights decorating the trees of the city, are back again this year.
Sparkling and elegant, yet dynamic, these illuminations are a staple of the Christmas season at Tokyo Midtown. Experience a stroll in the open Midtown Garden, a unique experience only possible at this time of year. You can also enjoy the walk of light from the restaurants facing the garden area.

A gorgeously decorated Christmas tree made from a real fir tree will be appearing in the garden area.
In addition to the elegant decorations based on gold and red, the tree will be decorated with mirror ornaments, elevating the stage and creating a delicate, sparkling look to welcome you at the entrance.

Santa Tree
The 4m-tall “Santa Tree” decorated with about 1,600 Santa Claus ornaments is back. Little Santas will gather at Tokyo Midtown to liven up the Christmas season. This year, the Santa Tree has been upgraded to incorporate snow ornaments and a design reminiscent of a snowy world, and to be coordinated with the illuminations in the garden area. Find your favorite Santa among the various ones spending the day in their own way.
