If there is one collectible sets from a company that probably captures the classic vibe of LEGO of decades past, that would be FUNWHOLE.
Founded back in 2014, the company has followed their goal of bringing innovative toys through idea of delivering joy and innovation.
And since 2018, they have listened to their toys fans of making better combinations of bricks and lighting.
And while the have numerous wonderful releases, this release of the FUNWHOLE Christmas Ski-Cabin (F9041) is just amazing.
First, you will know you have a FUNWHOLE set because these sets and the box/packaging is heavy but part of that heaviness is because the building manual are actual booklets. Heavy premium building instruction booklets (over 350 pages)! And I love that!
Packages are numbered and what FUNWHOLE usually does their sets is that they have multiple bags of a number inside. So, what I would do first is separate all bags by numbers.
As mentioned, the company put a lot of time into making better combination of lighting with their sets and so, it may seem daunting at first to have a lot of lighting options, compared to the other big company whose name starts with an “L”.
The amount of detail for this cabin is amazing. Not just the outside but also the interior. The living room has a snazzy coffee table, board games for the four characters: Cindy, Lucas, Lilly and William. Even the bedroom has a computer for them to use and go on the Internet.
As for the characters, there is no doubt that FUNWHOLE put great care in differentiating their toy character designs from the other company. But the thing is, I realize that those who like these FUNWHOLE sets can easily incorporate them to their other brickbuilding sets..
But as an AFOL, I have to say that this set is pretty cool! And I know that there is a lot of buzz with this company and I expect these sets to become collector’s editions once this set goes out of stock. So, won’t be surprised if prices go up on the market in the future.
Overall, this the FUNWHOLE Christmas Ski-Cabin (F9041) is a wonderful set and just among one of the cool sets released by FUNWHOLE. Check it out!
