A tree representing the vast ocean from the movie has been introduced Illuminations inspired by the world of the Disney animated film “Moana 2” will be displayed at the main venue, Hibiya Step Square.
Blue-based lights and ornaments that evoke the vast ocean that appears in the film will create a special space.
Enjoy the full-color illuminations, centered around seven Christmas trees, that will make you feel as if you have entered the world of the film. There will also be a special performance every 10 minutes to coincide with the music from the film. Enjoy a special moment woven by the full-color illuminations.
A light show that changes color depending on the season
In Hibiya Nakadori, an area surrounding Tokyo Midtown Hibiya, mysterious natural phenomena in the sky are expressed through illumination.
The streets of Hibiya are decorated with a “sky show” inspired by four phenomena that are rarely seen in everyday life: “Blue Moment” (November 14-December 6), when the sky is enveloped in a deep, dark blue color for a short time; “Aurora Green” (November 7 – November 25), inspired by the aurora that artistically colors the night sky; “Sunset Gold” (December 26-January 31),” when the sun begins to set and turns red and gold; and the “Pink Venus Belt” (February 1 – February 28) which appears before sunrise and just after sunset. The illuminations change depending on the season during the period, making it a sight you’ll want to visit again and again.
