It’s always interesting to see a new company come into the competitive gaming industry and when it comes to mechanical keyboards, to see what they have for release and how they can distinguish themselves from the start.
Gamepower is not a new company, but perhaps a company that many people may not be familiar with.
They were known for gaming mouse such as the SPECTRE, BANE and PHOENIX and they also had their headset TINKER 7.1 and the ICEBERG liquid cooler.
But in 2024, the company made strides iwth their Gamepower Vivid gaming monitors and most recently with their Gamepower BULL T10.
For mechanical keyboards, the company may not be known for them but they released their GAMEPOWER Gasket Pro 75% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. It’s important to note that there is another “X” version which comes with more extras.
The mechanical keyboard comes with the 2.4G receiver, USB-C aviator cable, the key cap puller and cloth, plastic bottom rests x 2, three stickers and a keycap switch keychain. No extra switches are included.
This is a gasket-mounted mechanical keyboard with tri-mode (wired, 2.4G and Bluetooth), factory lubed Linear switches (blue), 4000 mAh rechargeable battery, knob control, 81 keys with a 75% profile. The gasket mount features layers of foam to make the clicks less loud.
While a lot of the things I mentioned are becoming standard with mechanical keyboards, the GAMEPOWER Gasket Pro 75% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is rather interesting thanks to its transparent and creative structure. But the company also used a curved gasket structure which was interesting to see.
And also adding a 0.85-inch LCD screen. With this LCD screen, using the knob and pressing on the knob, you can select USB, 2.4G or Trimode, you can also set the operating system, LED lighting and more. Interesting to see the e-sports video which is a nice touch to add. It’s important to note that I recommend downloading the Gamepower Gasket Pro Software in order to update the time on your mechanical keyboard. Also, to add your own macro customization, LED light setup and also create your own animation for the LCD screen and more.
But I really feel that the GAMEPOWER Gasket Pro 75% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is probably the company’s most ambitious mechanical keyboard yet. I love the design and how they went with the clear transparent casing and transparent pudding keycaps which incorporate Thermal DYE sublimation technology.
Overall, this is an awesome mechanical keyboard. While the under $100 may be a bit pricey for some, it’s a wonderful quality keyboard worth purchasing and worth considering. I look forward to checking out more GAMEPOWER gaming hardware and accessories!
