I have tested many digital voice recorders from high end to low end. But this time around, I am reviewing the Crossback 64GB Digital Voice Activated Recorder with Playback.
This device has one touch recording with the REC button, Stop and Play buttons and a switch on the left to turn on and off, another on the side for volume up and down. Very easy to use!
But the device was created like a USB stick and MP3 player and has A-B repeat, variable speed playback, auto record, auto-save file protection, password protection, time stamp and more.
The device features a large capacity for 4552 hours of recording files (recording at 32kbps). Looking out the file properties, it’s about 64GB of storage and comes with the card. The recorder can recorder HD 3072kbps and has Auto Noise Cancellation.
The battery has 100 hours of battery life via its 500 mAh rechargeable battery and lasts up to 100 hours of continuous recording.
The device allows for MP3/WMA format, recording is via WAV. So, it can be used as an audio player. The recorder has two high performance omnidirectional microphones with 360 degree surround pickup and 20 ft. long-range recording.
Along with the 64GB SD card, the device comes with a USB cable with a micro-usb and wired ear buds.
Overall, the Crossback 64GB Digital Voice Activated Recorder with Playback is is a solid digital voice activated recorder.
