I have talked (podcast) and wrote about my love/hate for Nintendo Switch joycon controllers and the amount of drift problems I have had in the past.
So, for the past several years, I have been reviewing third party Nintendo power controllers. Trying various ones to see if they will last longer than the others.
And I have come upon a RuntoGol Wireless Pro Controller for Switch/Lite/OLED for under $33 that not only lasts longer than other third party power controllers but in terms of getting what I need it to do during games, it’s worked perfectly.
First, let me just say that this power controller is not just for the Nintendo Switch, it can be used on iOS/Android/PC and multiple devices (you just have to turn the switch on the rear for iOS/NS/Android/PC. So, Android, iOS Apple Arcade MFI Games (iOS 13.0 and above) and PC (Windows 7 and above), you should be fine!
The controller offers vibration and turbo function and it lasts about 12-15 hours (thanks to its 800 mAh rechargeable battery) and takes about three hours to charge.
For me, it’s pretty much used as a Nintendo Switch controller and of the many I reviewed, it’s probably the most reliable one already and the price is not bad at under $34.
Also, another plus is that it’s offered in solid colors, such as all white, all black, all silver. They each have N1 and N2 buttons on the rear as well and comes with a USB-C charging cable.
The RuntoGol Wireless Pro Controller for Switch/Lite/OLED is a wonderful power controller for your Nintendo Switch or other devices. It works and the batteries do last and have had no problems with it at all. Definitely one of the better Power Controllers I have tested and used.
