I have tested many digital voice recorders from high end to low end. But this time around, I am reviewing probably one of the best digital voice recorders under $18 and that’s the ZIPCIDE Digital Voice Recorder with Noise Canceling.
This device utilizes DSP noise reduction technology and has one touch recording with the REC button, Stop and Play buttons and a switch to turn on and off, another on the side for volume up and down. Very easy to use!
But the device was created like a USB stick and MP3 player and has A-B repeat, variable speed playback, auto record, auto-save file protection, password protection, time stamp and more.
The device features a large capacity for 4800 hours of recording files and can record for 30 hours. Looking out the file properties, it’s about 64GB of storage.
The device allows for MP3/WMA format, recording is via WAV.
The device comes with a USB cable with a micro-usb end and wired ear buds.
So, with the major positive that I have to say about this device. Why is it priced at under $20?
Well, for one, the device is made with plastic and dropping it on a hard floor may destroy it. But a lot of the video recorders are made of plastic as well, and some cost up to $40 and probably will break if dropped. This one is under $18 which is pretty good, just be careful in taking care of it.
But a benefit is the ease of using the recorder and also seeing a screen. Others don’t have a screen unless they are priced much higher.
But if anything the quality and the features is what makes the ZIPCIDE Digital Voice Recorder with Noise Canceling so impressive, especially compared to other devices at under $40. To have this many functions and priced this cheap and works better than its competitors, makes the ZIPCIDE Digital Voice Recorder with Noise Canceling worth owning!
