I have been preparing to breakout my Gameboy Advance SP and my collection of games.
I absolutely loved the GBA SP when it launched back in 2003. I bought the first generation of the GBA when it was released back in 2001 (and remember so clearly of how I had to purchase a special light to see the game), but 2003 was a game changer with the release of the Game Boy Advance SP as it featured the frontlit back screen.
But like all consoles, father time can lead to those rechargeable lithium-ion batteries to stop working.
But thank goodness that you can find rechargeable lithium-ion batteries around $11.
And it’s so easy to replace. Just open the back remove the old battery and plop the new one in and you are good to go! That’s it!
And with technology advances since 2003, you get a 1600 mAh battery, which is much better and longlasting.
