For those looking for an enclosure for NVMe/PCIE drives, you really can’t go wrong with the MAIWO M.2 NVMe SATA 2230 SSD Enclosure.
You get the aluminum alloy enclosure, a USB-C drive cable, aluminum cooling pad, silicone cooling sheet and inside the closure is a 10Gbps Main Chipset.
I was able to insert a NVMe drive with no problems and was able to put open and close the enclosure easily and it was plug and play. No problems on Windows 11 detecting the drive and I was able to transfer many GB of files to the drive using this enclosure device/cable with ease!
If there was one issue, it’s by using the silicone cooling sheet and aluminum cooling pad. I felt the enclosure didn’t close well when both are used, but when the cooling sheet was used, that worked just fine. So, it’s one or the other and not both, otherwise your enclosure won’t easily lock into place.
But for the most part, I just needed the enclosure for the NVMe drive and it worked perfectly!
