I wanted to try the Jousen Men’s Suede Loafers but one of the reasons is because Jousen makes wide loafers.
I am a huge loafer fan and while most of what I own are high end loafers, they are high end loafers and not all are for men with wide feet.
So, do know before going into this shoe, it’s going to be wide and so you some recommend going a size lower. For me, not getting a chance to put these on my foot before hand, my size is 11-11.5 and I got size 11. I figured, if there is a little space, I would be fine.
Getting the shoes, I was impressed by the craftmanship for this under $50 shoe. The stitching was well done, the black rubber sole is also very good. Of course, being under $50, you’re not going to get true leather. It’s 100% synthetic but that shouldn’t deter anyone.
It’s a very well-made loafer and as for the fit, I am glad I went with 11. It’s not loose but I don’t want it tight either. So, there is a little room but nothing that makes it hard to walk or super loose. So, if you are an 11.5, 11 is not bad. If you are a 10.5, then size 10 is not bad. If anything, just know that this is a shoe made for people with wide feet. And if you are one of those people, then Jousen shoes are for you.
I have no complaints! If you are looking for an under $50 men’s suede loafers that come in wide, but yet are affordable and stylish, then the Jousen Men’s Suede Loafers are worth checking out!
