As a person who uses luxury rollerball pens, while I have been using certain European brands for a long time, I am open to trying other luxury pens from other countries.
And for this review, I am checking out the BEILUNER Luxury Rollerball Pen.
While I am not familiar with the BEILUNER brand, I do know that they want to introduce fresh, modern products inspired by the classics and I’m all good with that. There is more than enough room for competition and healthy competition is great for better quality luxury pens to be released.
The pen that I am reviewing features a 24K gold trim and utilizes a Schneider Ink Topball 850 0.5mm. For those not familiar with this Topball 850, this is a smooth writing pen. Everything about it writes smoothly, ink flows smoothly and are quite inexpensive (you can get two for under $6 on Amazon).
The pen comes in a black leather box
The pen looks beautiful with its black lacquer exterior with gold trim and looks very good. But what makes this different from a luxury pen that costs many times more, well, the European pens tend to be more hand-crafted and are varnished and uses metal but also goes through weight testing. But you are also paying extra for a long lasting brand name.
The BEILUNER Luxury Rollerball Pen aesthetically beautiful but are not hand-made and while they look great, these pens are affordable at under $30.
I do feel that BEILUNER is a company that has the potential to really break through and while a lot of their promotion goes to their elegant luxury fountain pen set, I look forward to seeing where this company goes with their rollerball pens in the future.
For the price, the BEILUNER Luxury Rollerball Pen is recommended!
