For several weeks, I have been testing out the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse.
For those not familiar with the Razer DeathAdder line, for one it’s their most popular gaming mouse and one of the most comfortable with its iconic ergonomic form. For those who are right handed and use a claw grip, the mouse has a reputation to be a popular favorite among gamers.
Now the Razer DeathAdder V2 is an award winning mouse but what about this new Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro?
Well, the mouse has been refined to make it 25% lighter than its predecessor. This is huge as gamers want their gaming mice to be responsive and lighter. And sure enough, Razer now has one of the lightest ergonomic esports mice ever created.
The mouse comes with a 2.4 wireless receiver with a dongle to provide true 4000 HZ wireless polling rate and if you don’t care for wireless, then you can plug it in and make it a wired mouse.
In addition, the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro offers a 30K optical sensor, with a max acceleration of 70G and max speed of 750 IPS. And can be made to become 30,000 DPI and has 99.8% resolution accuracy.
With it’s improved surface compatibility, for those who use special materials for their desk mats, may it be a little rougher or smoother, this mouse tracks flawlessly.
The mouse has a 90-million click lifecycle, up to 90 hours battery life and you get Razer’s two year warranty.
For 2022, this has become my favorite mouse to use. It fits my grip and the ease of gliding through my mats, and how light this mouse is, it looks like a no frills black mouse, but it’s definitely much better than it looks. This is a high quality mouse but it’s also a Razer mouse, so that means you are going to pay a premium for the brand and the product. And no, if you are hardcore into LED colors, there are none but the green LED light above the center wheel.
Currently, this mouse is under $150 and as expected, it is expensive. But aside from paying for a popular gaming brand, you are also paying for one of the lightest most ergonomic mice in the market right now.
And it’s popular among esports athletes and is an investment, no doubt.
