I have reviewed many major brand name monitor in the past. But this time around, I am reviewing a Chinese brand FYHXele, a company which I am not aware of but I know that the brand is among the budget friendly monitors on the market and are available at various price points serving one’s needs.
May it be just for work, for gaming, and at various sizes from 24″ to 32″.
While I do gaming, I operate multiple monitors purely for my personal work and observing market financial trends.
I needed to switch out my current 24″ and decided to give the FYHXele 24″ Computer Monitor 75Hz (FY24C) a try.
At under $130, I can easily say that it makes for a very good personal monitor to use at home or in the office. One benefit is that it does offer 2 HDMI connections and a USB-Type C connection (if you need to charge your smart phone). It does have built-in speakers which many monitors don’t have and you can easily configure monitor settings including the monitor settings to lower blue light.
Now the refresh rate is 60/75Hz which is good and you can use it for gaming but of course, if you are a hardcore gamer, then you go for 144Hz but surprisingly, FYHXele offers a 24″ 165Hz 1K monitor for $45 more.
But as mentioned, for me this is primarily for work and operates as my third/fourth monitor and it works perfectly for that. It has the stand, but it has four screw areas for those who prefer to have them on monitor arms.
It does have Adaptive Sync, so it can work with AMD Free-Sync and G-Sync. The screen is flat screen and the monitor is matte black.
It doesn’t use the usual monitor plugs and comes with its own power adapter to go underneath to a DC in jack. A 4.5 ft. HDMI cable and a USB Type-C Cable 4.5 ft. are included. As well as a simple cable manager if you choose to attach it to its stand.
But for the most part, the monitor industry is becoming very competitive and while many may be familiar with the bigger companies that tend to focus on office hardware or gaming hardware, one should keep an eye on the Chinese market for hardware, especially considering how hard hardware has been difficult to obtain since the semiconductor shortage, one can expect big things to come from FYHXele for competitively priced monitors.
As of right now, everything is crisp and clear, no sign of blurriness and I have easily adjusted the monitor to have less blue light and everything was much easier to set thanks to the multiple buttons in the rear of the monitor. I am quite pleased with the FYHXele 24″ Computer Monitor 75Hz (FY24C).
Will it last as long as these big brand names? I don’t know, as this is my first monitor from the company. But I will update this review if things do change.
But for now, for the quality, for the price, I’m going to give the FYHXele 24″ Computer Monitor 75Hz (FY24C) five stars!
