Eat like royalty (or look like you eat like royalty) or whenever one talks about “born with a golden spoon”, then you can say yes, my children eat with a golden spoon and golden flatware.
The Royalrose Monarchy Gold Flatware Set is a flatware set that I got because I have numerous silverware, silverware in black (or dark gunmetal gray) but gold, I never had one and when I saw this, I had to check it out!
You get 20 pieces, so the usual flatware, table (or place) spoon, tea spoon, butter (or place) knife, place fork and salad fork.
I actually like this flatware, especially for the heavier monarchy ends. Very reminiscent to the expensive 20th Century Baroque flatware. I know several major shopping outlets that sells these royalty flatware for several hundreds of dollars. This is $70.
My wife, she thought it was a bit cringe that I did get it but hey, she’s using it (I like to think it has grown on her), so it’s being utilized which is all that matters. And yes, if we have guests, they will be treated like royalty when I break out this flatware.
