The Younik Carrying Case for Oculus Quest 2 is the latest case I am reviewing for the Oculus Quest 2.
I have reviewed normal cases to hard shell cases and this one is right in the middle, in the fact that it’s not made of hard plastic, nor is it like a standard cloth bag that provides barely any protection.
This case is well sized to fit the Oculus Quest 2, controllers, cables and other accessories, such as grip skins, foam straps, power banks, etc.
The case features an Oxford cloth outer layer to make it waterproof, scratch and wear resistant, an EVA middle layer to make it shockproof and a velvet lining to protect equipment from scratches.
The interior has a shockproof strap and a net storage pocket but I think the biggest thing (and there are two) , is that the price is $25 which is fantastic! And the second is that this has a stronger outer case which does provide a good amount of protection.
I have a hardshell Oculus Quest 2 case which is nearly $70 (granted, the case is super thick and encased with hard plastic). The fact that this is $25, this is no doubt an affordable case for those who want a protective case for their Oculus Quest 2 that is much better than the standard cloth-based cases that you see.
