I have been looking for an accounting calculator and decided to give the Macally 2-in-1 Bluetooth Number Pad with Accounting Calculator.
For one, it has a programmable tax keys and functions of what can expect from a 10 key calculator.
But it also can be made into a 32-key bluetooth keypad.
For one, the bluetooth capability works but perhaps I’m too used to using the numeric keys on my laptop that I found that to be much more convenient than using the Macally calculator. But this is subjective.
The Bluetooth will work on PC and MAC PC’s, as well as iOS and Android devices.
The LCD screen is big and for the most part, I have been working with this calculator effectively and while I do wish it had a backlight, at $30 most of my work with the calculator is done with lights on or during the day, so I’m not heavily impacted compared to other number crunchers out there.
The keys are definitely quiet, so no worries of irritating people next to you who can’t stand loud clicking devices.
The calculator comes with two AAA batteries.
But I have to say that I got this calculator based on my appreciation for Macally products. Back in the day, they were the goto for third party if you were an Apple computer user and had Macally keyboards and also was appreciative of their warranties.
The same goes for this calculator as Macally offers lifetime support and up to two years warranty.
Overall, this is an accounting calculator that is very good for its under $30 pricepoint.
