I have been looking for alternatives to the Mitsubishi Jetstream and ZEBRA Sarasa 0.5mm pens and discovered the Surcotto 12 Pack Black Fine Point 0.5mm Roller Ball Pens.
These gel pens are inexpensive at under $9.
The see through bottom shows how much ink is available and these are straight liquid type pens with a 0.5mm diameter.
At the end is a High-Precision Tungsten Carbide Ball which is cool but as much as the pens do work great, I do notice that it’s not as quick drying as I would have hoped. I have a .35 mm that dries super quick. These Surcotto pens, they take a little longer.
But overall, for the price and smooth writing that these pens give, I do recommend the Surcotto 12 Pack Black Fine Point 0.5mm Roller Ball Gel Pens.
