I have been wanting to give my mom a sound bar for her to watch her Filipino channels in her room, but with better sound as the TV is too tinny.
So, I got her a BenqBot Sound Bar, a bluetooth soundbar or one that can be connected by an audio cable (usually for the head phones). While the soundbar is battery powered, we have it powered via USB through her HDTV.
The soundbar comes with an analog coaxial cable, a USB charging cord and an audio input cable.
It’s pretty much easy to setup via Bluetooth. Hold down the power for a few seconds (to turn on or off) and the remote is easy to choose from Bluetooth or Coaxial. Select Blutooth and if your TV has Bluetooth, just pair and its ready to go.
If anything, for the price, its more than adequate. You’re not going to get amazing bass but for a PC or HDTV, it was adequate enough for my mom’s needs and simple to install and the remote was easy for her to to learn.
