As aquarium maintenance is very important, sometimes buying individual pieces can be quite expensive for some aquarium owners.
The Katfort Aquarium Fish Tank Cleaner kit is under $15 and you get a gravel vacuum, extendable handle which you can attach a fish net, scalpel (more like a scraper to remove algae from your aquarium glass), water grass clip, fish tank brush (to clean your aquarium glass) and a gravel harrow.
Now one must wonder, do you get what you pay for…for $15 for an aquarium cleaner kit?
The gravel vacuum is not as good as my other gravel vacuum’s, it contains a flow control valve, compression ball, drain hose, intake and a hard pipe but I wasn’t able to clean my aquarium as effectively compared to my more expensive gravel vacuum. I think partly because my two gravel vacuums uses a sturdy tube, this uses like a plastic lightweight spring-like tube, but not entirely sure.
But I will say the other accessories are quite solid. The extendable handle is a plus and to have a fish net with one, You may pay $20 just for that at a pet store. And then you get the glass cleaning brush, scraper and then other accessories that you may not use.
Overall, the Katfort Aquarium Fish Tank Cleaner kit for $15 is truly an inexpensive aquarium kit. It’s a great price for those who are looking for aquarium maintenance on a budget.
