The MYPIN 10-inch Digital Picture Frame is a picture frame which comes with the main digital frame and a remote.
In a way, I was thinking its a device that allows for 1920×1080 HD resolution video playing and photos that can be played in full screen.
All you have to do is put an SD card or a USB stick up to 32GB and you can either play images (JPG, JPEG, BMP, PNG and GIF) or video such as RM, RMVB, AVI and MOV and audio such as MP2, AAC, AC3, APE, FLAC, MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA, M4A.
As a digital frame it works well, use the remote to have photos play but the device will turn off if no movement is in front of it after 30 seconds.
As a video player, I wish it offered more support for video files such as MPG, MP4 or QT. If anything, more video formats.
It does work as an alarm clock, calendar, clock as well.
But if anything, it was a bit more basic than I expected. Especially at $60. I do wish it had wifi capability but for the price and what it accomplishes, it’s OK.
