The One about the KAUKKO Shoulder Messenger Bag

I received a KAUKKO Shoulder Messenger Bag and wanted to check it out because the various colors they offer for their messenger bags.

These stylish bags are made in China and is made of 100% Nylon with a polyester lining with a zipper closure.

This bag needs to be hand-washed and is quite durable.

Cool buckles in the front but they are more decorative.  The front pocket is snap based with two snap buttons at the bottom (where the bottom buckles are located).

Once the top flap is removed, you get a pocket and a zipper pocket right behind.  While the sides feature a mesh pocket that you can put pencils, batteries or something small.  Top right has another button pocket.

The main pocket features a draw string pouch with a drawstring.  While inside that pouch is a zipper pocket.  And that’s pretty much it.  Works great to carry small things, your camera or wallet, passport etc. or great for those who attend concerts in which the stadium only accepts small bags.

It is quite stylish in appearance.

But I do have an issue with one thing about this bag.  The reason why I chose this one is because on Amazon, the picture featured a cool label which was also a bit more simplistic and I like the wording on them.

The picture features “Company Branded Trade Mark”, “Designed in the Kaukko Workshop”, etc.

The version I got has “D/E/A/R Kaukko Simple Casual”, “Portable & Free Style, Nature …Deep-Respiration (Daily Life), “Western U.S. Cattle Subpackages, Free Person At Time”.

First, I do not want a bag that has “Western U.S. Cattle” at the front label.  I am not a farmer, nor do I want a bag that identifies with agriculture.  “Free Person at a Time”?  What the heck does that mean?

The label is completely different than what is pictured, as I was disappointed by that.

So, do know that you may get a label completely different than what you ordered.

Overall, while I do like the look, if Kaukko is offering bags with labeling that doesn’t match what is being sold on Amazon, I can’t recommend it.
