One of the necessary things to have if you are an aquarist is a fish net.
While some fish nets come with a tank, some are sold at stores, the thing is that a lot of small nets are small. If you want a bigger net for a bigger handle, sometimes the prices are over $15-$20 for a bigger net and longer handle.
The Filhome Extendable Aquarium Fish Net is under $10 and has a big net, with a handle that extends from 13.8 inches to 23.2 inches.
It has a loop, so you can easily hang it. And the net does a great job of catching fish. Just note that this is great for small fish, but anything heavy like a chunky 4-6 inch oranda or koi, may make it hard to grasp the handle (I recommend a larger net with a thicker handle).
But for tropical fish to smaller to medium sized cichlids, it wouldn’t be that difficult to catch with this net. But for heavier fish, not so much.
