I decided to give the Yizhi Miaow Aquarium Fish Hideaway Cave Decorations a try.
These resin decorations are for those who want to add some color or some hiding spaces on your aquarium.
For those who have seen my aquariums online, will know that I use primarily live plants.
BUT for the bedroom tank, my wife wanted non-live aquariums because of snails. And to be truthful, I grew tired of removing snails because she wanted me to take it out, so I decided to add some color via these resin decorations.
These decorations that I am trying out has two log like caves and two resin plants (green and orange). The caves have been great for my cichlids as I have rock formations and for certain smaller cichlids, I can turn it sideways and the my Lake Malawi cichlids have been utilizing these cave areas perfectly.
And I have been using the resin plants in my tank where the live plants were removed, so my wife doesn’t have to worry about snails.
