Plecos are freshwater catfish that come from South Africa and are nocturnal and some like to find areas under rocks, caves until the lights are dark and they come out to scavenge the bottom for algae.
Those who love their plecos (as there are different varieties of them), tend to want to find something for them to go inside to keep away from the lights and stay.
