The One about the TSTKCOM Submersible Water Pump (Bottom Suction, 160GPH version)

This is a second TSKCOM Submersible Water Pump that I had a chance to review.

The first was a side suction version that allowed for control of water flow and I reviewed the 120GPH version of that.  This time around, I am reviewing the TSTKCOM Submersible Water Pump (Bottom Suction, 160GPH version).

There is a major difference between the bottom and the side suction and the main difference is that this one is meant to stay at the bottom, there is no control of flow with the bottom suction version but it has more power and it has a much higher lift up to 8.2 feet.

With that being said, there are a few things I have to mention, similar to my last TSKCOM Submersible Water Pump which said it came with three adapters, this one came with only two, plus four suction cups and no tubing.  I’m guessing that the higher the GPH, the more adapters one gets.

With that being said, who do I recommend this for?

I recommend those this version of the water pump versus the side suction if you want power and know off hand that you want a high lift for a fountain.  There is no control of water flow, but it has a dual copper wire motor which improves service life and reduces motor failure. This also has a handle, the other one does not.

Personally, both have their positives and negatives and if you had to choose between the TSKCOM Submersible Water Pumps, which should you go for…Bottom Suction vs. the Side Suction?  Both are the same price but if I had to pick one over the other, I would give the Side Suction an edge in the fact that you can control the amount of power.

If you were to get this version and say you didn’t want to go 8.2 feet and wanted to go five feet, you can’t control the power with the bottom suction version, but you can do it with side-suction version.  I think having the ability to control the amount of power flow is important.
