The One about the OFM Recycling Gaming Chair with Footrest

Today, I am reviewing the OFM Reclining Gaming Chair with Footrest which one can purchase from Amazon for under $162.

A lot of people want gaming chairs, it’s what many gamers have and of course, some are more expensive than others.

But for those who are not ready to go over $200 and let alone are willing to spend a little over $150, the OFM Recling Gaming Chair is a good choice.

For one, it’s simple to put together.  Just looking at the photo of the chair, you can tell how many parts there are, aside from the wheels that go in the bottom and the standing pipe portion at the center, you have the two armrests, the bottom and back seat and then two metal parts (one that connects the two seat parts together and the metal part underneath that lets you recline or elevate and adjust the pneumatic height).

Once again, it’s not that difficult to put together, the hext tool and screws are included.

But I do have one issue.

While I’m grateful that there are a few extra screws included, I believe for people new to putting seats together, the screws should be much better in terms of sizing. On the instructions, there are groups of smaller crews that look almost exact.  Also, for those with slight eyesight issues, for the instructions, the back metal piece that connect the back part to the seat, there should be a side view of the metal brace to show the correct side it should be, as there may be people who put it the wrong way.

Granted, this is not just with OFM, I have put other gaming chairs for other companies and a few others make those small things difficult.

Otherwise, this is a cool gaming chair for the price.  I really like the black and red with bonded leather.  The foot rest is more of a leg rest.  I think of foot rests are what people have on the ground and you put your feet on top of (which you often see at office ergo setups).  Unless you are reclining at 135 degrees (which is possible with this chair) and can make your foot touch that rest, then you can call it a foot rest but for gamers, it’s probably more of a leg rest.

I do like the integrated paded headrest but so far, I have not had to use it, as I’m sitting upright for good posture while playing a game.  I just don’t recline with gaming chairs, but it’s preference.

I do like the padding and for those who are heavier, the thicker seat is a plus but some may find it a bit stiff.

But otherwise, this is one of the cooler looking gaming chairs that I have put together for the pricepoint.

I like the look, I like how easy it was to put together and for the most part cool for gaming and for those who are just wanting to spend $150 (and are willing to spend $15 more), then you can’t go wrong with the OFM Reclining Gaming Chair with Footrest.
