As a big silent film fan and fan of the 1920’s/1930’s, I occasionally will dress up for events in relation to that era.
And a Gatsby hat is a must!
Gatsby hats are often iffy when you see it on Amazon, some look great but when you receive it, it’s very cheap. While others will surprise you of how well they are made and don’t cost much.
The Charmylo Newsboy Tweed Gatsby Hat is one of those hats.
It comes in two sizes (7 1/8 – 7 3/8 and 7 3/8 – 7 5/8) and offered in three styles. I chose Black Currant which is a combination of black and brown diagonal lines. The hat is made in China.
One thing that is a bit different is typically the front side is stitched to the cap. This version is not the case as it has two snap buttons in the front.
Personally, the snap buttons are not even needed, but I will say in terms of quality, compared to other Gatsby hats under $20, this is one of the best made versions I have come across.
