I have been testing out third party Joycon replacements since I had drift issues with my left controllers. It didn’t happen once, it happened twice. So, I have been looking for alternatives that are inexpensive, come with both left and right controllers and if anything, feels comfortable.
So far, one of the coolest third party Joycon replacements I had used is the Mayfan Wireless Custom Switch Joy Pad Controllers.
At under $40 for both left and right controllers, the rear of it has bump grip that makes the joycon’s much easier to hold but that’s not all.
You’ll notice how these controllers have additional buttons.
That’s because the joycon allows one to remap buttons for certain games. In addition, it supports turbo rapid fire function, the controllers do offer motion sensing and vibration.
I also see a blinking light inside each of these joycons, moreso through the red/right controller, which is a pretty cool touch.
Do know that because of the special shape of these joycon’s, official grips or skins will not work with this product, as well as the steering wheel.
This is primarily for those who are tired of drift or want extra controllers to play with family or friends.
But this certain third party joy controller form Mayfan offers a bit more than what other third party joycons have released (and I have reviewed a few).
If anything, I like it. I like the price, I like the features and I like how well I’m able to grip thanks to the grips in the rear.
I have no complaints and I definitely recommend the Mayfan Wireless Custom Switch Joy Pad Controllers.
