I absolutely love the Nintendo Switch. But what I don’t love is the Joy-Con Drift and the cost to replace one Joy-Con.
Not sure if it’s from games like Smash Brothers or even Animal Crossing or just gaming in general but I’ve had bad luck with Joy-Con drifting and the sad part about it….it costs almost $46 for one Left Joy-Con and almost $85 for the Left and R Joy-Con.
And while Nintendo has offered to repair a Joy-Con Drift free of charge, how many times you are able to fix Joy-Con drift on the same controller, especially if it keeps happening?
That’s when you want to look into fixing the Joy-Con stick yourself.
The HAUZIK Replacement Joystick repair for the Nintendo Switch comes with the left and right analog stick, a tri-wing screwdriver, cross screwdriver and a tweezer, a prybar, screws and a pry tool. It costs $14 but it’s way better than spending $80 on new Joy-Cons.
Now is it easy to repair? I recommend watching this helpful video.
I do recommend working in a space where you don’t lose the screws so easily and the screws are on something that is a lighter color. Because it’s easy to lose them because they are small.. So, please keep that in mind.
But for the most part, it’s not too difficult to fix. It’ll probably take about a half-hour but just be gentle when prying things and you should be good.
But overall, the tool set works and it’s a much cheaper alternative than purchasing another Joy-Con by fixing it on your own.
Overall, the HAUZIK Replacement Joystick repair for the Nintendo Switch is recommended.
