The One about the ROCCAT KAIN 200 Aimo RGB Gaming Mouse

When it comes to gaming mouse, ROCCAT has made very good gaming mice to suit a variety of gamers.

Designed in Germany, May it be MMO Gamers (Nyth, with a laser sensor), Customizing Gamers (Kone AIMO) or for those who want something in between with their Leadr mice which has a good number of buttons but not all in the side like the Nyth.

ROCCAT has now unveiled their KAIN 200 AIMO wireless RGB Gaming Mouse.

The mouse has an ergonomic build, has anti-wear coating and features their Titan Click featuring optimized switch location and registers mouse clicks up to 16mm faster.

And features fluid AIMO illumination and features another collaboration with PixArt and will last 50 hours of game time and 35 hours with illumination enabled.

With that being said, let’s take a look at the ROCCAT KAIN 200 Aimo RGB Gaming Mouse!

Installation, what I like about the ROCCAT KAIN 200 Aimo RGB Gaming mouse is that it has two ways to run, wireless or wired.  You get the braided charging cable/functions also to make the mouse to become a wired mouse, the USB receiver and a little dock which can function as USB extender (to have the mouse closer to your mouse).

I love the fact that the mouse has rechargeable batteries and also gives one the choice of going wireless or wired.

I actually love the grip on this mouse which isn’t too large and doesn’t have the grooves of the ROCCAT Kone (on the sides).

While the mouse worked immediately and Windows 10 detects it via plug-in-play, I do recommend visiting the ROCCAT website and downloading ROCCAT Swarm.

The settings allow to set vertical control speed, horizontal tilt speed, double-click speed, windows pointer speed and also has a DPI Switcher, so one can easily customize each press of the DPI button (under the scroll wheel).

You can easily set the buttons to have hot keys for gaming.  One can change the illumination and also check their battery status, signal strength, set polling rate, angle snapping, sound feedback and more.

I tested the mouse on “Overwatch”, “Fortnite” and “Path of Exile” and the mouse response was great.

With the latest mouse, ROCCAT uses the PixArt PMW3335 with a ROCCAT Owl-Eye optical sensor with 16000dpi and has 512kb of onboard memory including Omron switches.

I experienced no smoothing, no skipping or anything negative during gameplay.

Overall, this is a very solid gaming mouse. No negative issues, I prefer the ergonomic feel of the ROCCAT KAIN 200 Aimo vs. the ROCCAT Kone.  But with a quality sensor and how well it works during gameplay, I have nothing negative to say about this gaming mouse!

The ROCCAT KAIN 200 Aimo RGB Gaming Mouse is recommended!
