The One about Going to BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse Late at Night in Cupertino

It was back in 1978 when two men would create Chicago Deep Dish Pizza with a Southern California flair.

The two would open their first BJ’s restaurant in Santa Ana and the popularity of the deep dish pizza would lead to several more restaurants in Southern California.

And as BJ would open a BJ’s brewery introducing their fine handcrafted beer at their new restaurant in Brea, California.

The popularity would lead to 178 BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, BJ’s Restaurant & Brewery, BJ’s Pizza & Grill and BJ’s Grill restaurants across the united States.

According to BJ’s restaurants:

BJ’s Restaurants offer an innovative and broad menu featuring award-winning, signature deep-dish pizza complemented with generously portioned salads, appetizers, sandwiches, soups, pastas, entrees and desserts, including the Pizookie® dessert. Quality, flavor, value, moderate prices and sincere service remain distinct attributes of the BJ’s experience. All restaurants feature BJ’s critically acclaimed proprietary craft beers, which are produced at several of the Company’s restaurant and brewery locations and independent third party craft brewers.

As I was traveling after a long day of covering concerts, we ended up going to the BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse right next door to Apple headquarters in Cupertino.

It was one of the few locations still open a little later on a Sunday night and with happy hour, you get good deals on their deep dish pizza and sliders.  As well as the liquor, which I was unable to partake in.

For a place with a positive environment and offers deep dish pizza, their gluten-free EnLIGHTened menus under 795 calories, dessert, sandwiches, signature salads and more!

And of course, their award winning handcrafted beer and soda.

But the overall atmosphere was great, sports showing on the big TV’s, good amount of liquor being offered but most importantly, delicious food that is accessible late at night.

Granted, I make it a goal to never eat past 7 but after a long day of concert coverage, BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse is a popular commercial restaurant worth visiting!
