The One about the ZZYUAP Frog Lures for Bass Fishing (5 Pack XL & L Size)

One of my favorite topwater baits are frog lures. They are weedless and have upward-facing hooks and you can drag the frogs through thick vegetation, lily pads and timber without any worries of it getting snag.

Today I am using the ZZYUAP Frog Lures for Bass Fishing (5 Pack XL & L Size), which you get one really big XL frog, another one that is not as fat but XL and then three large (similar size to most frog lures). Now the primary difference that you will notice is that these frog lures come with no skirt but they do have long legs behind.

They are definitely hollow body (and very soft) and the hooks are similar to what you see with hooks from a store, but for some anglers, you may want to use your needle nose plier to gently bend the double hooks slightly outward and upward away from the body to create a wider gap, thus less pressure to pierce a bass’s mouth. Granted, if you are planning to pitch in very heavy cover, keep the hooks as they are. Otherwise, open water and you can experiment, especially with flaring the hooks outward.

At $17, it’s a pretty good deal, considering many other lures are that price or more for just one frog lure (or two of them). And you also get different sizes which is a plus.

Overall, the ZZYUAP Frog Lures for Bass Fishing (5 Pack XL & L Size) are frog lures worth trying.
