Today I am reviewing the Sewroro Stainless Steel Bait Rigging Needle.
The handle is made of pearwood and the threading needle is made from 304 stainless steel and the rigging needle is about 5.9 inches in length and this well-made worm threader costs under $6.
So, how does it work?
Take your worm and thread it through the needle through the tail end first. Then with your hook, connect the tip of the hook (with line already attached) to the threading needle and then move the worm up through the hook with one hand, while the other hand is holding the threader handle and the line at the same time. You get a perfectly straight worm that is threaded and I recommend fatter nightcrawlers.
This setup is recommended for fish that you intend to eat and not wanting to release. Because the fish will eat these worms with the hook. So, do know that in advance!
Last tip and I highly recommend this, if you are going to put this in your tacklebox, get a piece of thick styrofoam (rod shape works best) and cover that tip, otherwise you can end up really hurting yourself if you poke yourself with the sharp end of the rigging needle.
