In my fishing quiver, all 50+ of my fishing rods have Neoprene Sleeves. But it can get quite pricey as the ones I have purchased are $11-$12 each.
I have since discovered the OLOLYAP Neoprene Fishing Pole Sleeves which are under $16 for two. And I have since ordered several more because of the price for two.
I then realized they sell them via a set, so you can get each of the five variations together for less than $43 (coupon brings it down to under $41).
It’s important to note that other companies have a distinction for reel rods and casting rods (due to the guide sizes) and the casting rods tend to me slimmer. But for OLOYAP, while designed for spinning rods with big guides, they could be used with casting rods but I wished OLOYAP made a thinner version specifically for casting rods but they will work for both and it kind of allows you to keep your unused lure in your rod cover, so you don’t accidentally hook on your car interior.
The size is 5’8″ and while others I have used are 6’0″, these are still too good for its price and they will work for your 6-7 feet rods with no problems but they do recommend them for use at 5’9″ to 6’9″ rods. The reel drawstring lock on the sleeve is thinner than another brand that I use and you may want to be careful of snapping the drawstring (which I have done on one already).
Overall, the OLOLYAP Fishing Rod Protective Sleeve Set is a set worth considering for $43. Still much less for the five I would purchase from our local stores. Definitely worth it!
