As 2026 has become the year of the sea Urchin artificial lure in fishing, many companies are now coming out with their sea urchin lures and Pawfly has released their six piece soft plastic sea urchin lure.
These come in the small 2.8″ size ($9.99), the 3.5″ size ($12.99) and the 4.3″ size ($14.99). You can get them in multi-coolored or in natural green pumpkin and for an inexpensive sea urchin lure, that’s a pretty good deal for six small ones. Other companies charge for 2 for $10, but you get six (for the smaller sized version).
Where some who create a smaller size as big as quarter (including tentacles) this one may have the small center but the tentacles are quite long, which I do like.
I also like the added touch of the black flake finish as well. And I like how they are natural colors and nothing to vibrant.
When in water it has a subtle pulsing action, lifelike movement and natural slow fall.
Overall, the Pawfly 6Pcs Soft Plastic Urchin Lures (2.8″) are well-made and for the smaller version, it’s well-made and quite larger than other company’s smaller lure with small tentacles. These tentacles are much longer and aids in its lifelike movement.
