1) Fish catching experience

Itadakimasu means
This is a top-of-the-line brand of rainbow trout developed by Kamiyama Suisan in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture. Because it grows over a longer period than ordinary trout in a harsh environment with large temperature fluctuations, it is characterized by its beautiful salmon-pink flesh with a high concentration of excellent fat.

It is highly regarded even in top-class restaurants.

Freshly caught and prepared trout are foil-baked with vegetables delivered straight from the Nikko market! While it’s baking, enjoy some trout sashimi. It melts in your mouth and is sweet… These carefully raised trout have firm flesh yet are fatty, making them truly exquisite!

2) Tochigi’s Gourmet Food (Dinner & Breakfast)
In addition to our standard “Itadakimasu” dishes, we offer a variety of local ingredients, including chicken from Tochigi Prefecture and seasonal vegetables delivered from the Nikko market! We provide all the cooking utensils, so feel free to bring your own ingredients and customize the meal.

The photo is just for illustration purposes, but we’re planning to make meals that allow you to enjoy the ingredients, such as foil-wrapped dishes and steamed vegetables, using a mess tin!
3) Tochigi sake tasting event
A booth offering tastings of local Nikko sake is also planned. Enjoying local food and sake amidst nature is sure to enhance the outdoor experience!

4) Bonfire & marshmallow roasting experience
As the sound of wood being chopped echoes through the air, and the flames crackle and fizz as dusk falls, the scent of burning wood fills the air, making you inexplicably want to roast marshmallows and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea.

Experience the relaxed pace of life that’s hard to find in the city!

5) Stargazing in early summer
With its clear air and minimal light pollution, the Nikko Takatoku Camp Station offers stunning views of the stars on clear days! June is the perfect season to enjoy beautiful constellations such as the Summer Triangle.

Why not relax and admire the starry sky while listening to a lecture from our knowledgeable manager about the night sky and enjoying the gentle murmur of the river?

6) The intersection of “SL Taiju” and “Spacia X”
Witness the new “Spacia X” limited express train connecting Asakusa to Nikko and Kinugawa, and the steam locomotive “SL Taiju” slowly crossing paths right before your eyes! Don’t miss this incredibly rare opportunity to see both the locomotive approaching from afar, blasting its whistle and billowing smoke, and the latest flagship limited express train!

One of the highlights of our campsite is that you can see the steam locomotive “SL Taiju” crossing the bridge while you’re there.

7) Outdoor experiences
We offer a variety of outdoor experiences, including firewood splitting, fire-starting, and tent pitching lessons. No experience necessary! We provide all the necessary camping equipment, such as tents and bedding, and our professional instructors will fully support you so that even those with no camping experience can easily participate!

Furthermore, there’s a space where children can play freely, allowing adults to enjoy some relaxing time on their own.
