The One about Sunline’s serious ayu fishing competition and lesson

Sunline Co., Ltd. is a fishing company that has been around since August 1977. Established in Yamaguchi Prefecture, the company was known for their water resistant resin hardening technology and their lures were released in the US under the name Dairiki back in 1987.

The “Dairiki” name would transition to Sunline’s tuna longline fishing products as of 1989 and by 1991, the company was one of the top producers of nylon fishing lines. And in 1993, they would release their fluorocarbon leader line “Tornado” and in 1994, their fluorocarbon bass fishing line “FC Sniper”.

By 2000, Sunline would release their pink fluorocarbon leader titled “Tornado SV-I”, a line that made it difficult for fish to see.

And by 2008, the company would established their wholly owned subsidiary “Sunline America, Co., Ltd.” in Los Angeles.

In 2023, the company has now ventured into new plasma technology with “Plastas” and entered the nail care industry. Their plasma technology was also used for their MACHINGUN CAST.

And with the diversification, Sunline became a company that incorporates manufacturing, processing, and sales of fishing lines for leisure, fisheries, and commercial use. Manufacturing, processing, and sales of monofilaments for industrial materials. Procurement and sales of various fishing tackle. Surface modification processing and equipment sales utilizing atmospheric pressure plasma technology.

On YouTube, the company has one of the oldest presence on YouTube at over 18 years and has over 31,000 subscribers.
