“HIBIYA Magic Time SQUARE 2025” with Hibiya Step Square as the main venue, creates a space that imagines a large city where people from all over the world gather and are wrapped in gorgeous light and lively. In addition, a tree illumination inspired by the world view of Disney Animation Studio’s latest work “Zootopia II” appeared. The main tree, which has been scaled up since last year, is full-color illumination, offering a three-dimensional and dynamic light experience along with cube-shaped illuminations placed around it.

Creating high-quality light shine with mixed illumination
“HIBIYA AREA ILLUMINATION” centered on Hibiya Nakadori, the surrounding area of Tokyo Midtown Hibiya, develops illuminations that combine full color and white to create a high-quality, deep scene. This year’s theme is “Music” suitable for the entertainment town of Hibiya. The first half of the theme is “hot jazz” that became popular in the United States from the 1920s to the 1930s, and the second half is “nocturne” which is translated as “nocturne” in Japanese. During the period, two different light programs offer a special moment to captivate visitors.
