In this day and age, as laptops and desktops become smaller and thinner, they tend to have less ports.
And what to do if you need more USB ports and extra ports if you plan to have a dual or triple monitor setup? This is where a docking station (aka port replicator) comes in.
Sure, there are big brand docking stations out there, but do you really need to spend $300 on one? Personally, I wouldn’t.
In fact, something such as the $80 (+ a 10% off coupon) ANYOYO USB C Docking Station may be enough for a lot of people.
It’s a 16-in-1 docking station, that allows for three 5GBps USB ports, two 16Gbps USB Type-C ports, one TF3.0 and SD3.0 card reader on the front.
While the back features two HDMI 4K ports, VGA port, two USB 2.0 ports, 2.5G ethernet port and a PD100W and host port.
I can recommend this for office use for companies that don’t have a huge budget. This will plug in via USB-C to a laptop and Windows 11 will detect the docking station. The only caveat is that I wish it included a DisplayPort instead of a VGA port, but I do understand why they included it as some people still use older monitors and this docking station does allow for one to be used.
But I do recommend this docking station for individuals or small home offices that needed to connect multiple devices and your laptop or even desktop doesn’t have enough ports. At $80, the ANYOYO USB C Docking Station is definitely worth checking out!
