When it comes to video game companies that produces peripheral devices, the brand 8BitDo has become one of the top third party brands.
Founded in 2013, 8BitDo is a company known for creating quality console controllers, bluetooth gamepad controllers and keyboards.
And if one purchases a controller or keyboard, two things the company adds which was unexpected are their “Super Button”.
Today, I am reviewing the 8Bitdo Lite SE 2.4G Wireless Controller for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows 10/11.
While I am not using this controller for my XBOX One, I am using it for PC for Steam games and I have to admit, I was surprised.
Why? Because it’s not the typical shape of a Microsoft XBox Controller. There are no shoulder buttons, there are no triggers, all the buttons are placed on the game pad itself.
And what is most shocking is that I thought that I would find it challenging to play video games with the buttons placed in this way, but it turns out, the controller is comfortable to hold and pressing the buttons the gamepad was no problem.
The controller comes with a 2.4G Wireless dongle, to play wireless, but I have it plugged in via USB-C. The controller also has a 3.5mm audio jack and supports standard CTIA connectors.
And yes, the controller has vibration and low-resistance buttons and joysticks.
But what are these “Super Buttons”? This is for those who want to use them as programmable keys, you can map anything to them instantly without using software.
Overall, I feel that 8BitDo is one heck of an innovative company creating wonderful products and their 8Bitdo Lite SE 2.4G Wireless Controller for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows 10/11 is another wonderful addition to their lineup of products.
It works perfectly no problems holding on to the controller and was able to play my video games with ease. It may take a little time for some people but for me, once I got the hang of it, I had no problems playing on it. It’s an awesome controller and I definitely recommend the 8Bitdo Lite SE 2.4G Wireless Controller for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows 10/11.
