Have you ever seen a minimalist keyboard? I haven’t until I saw the EPOMAKER x Aula F65 65% Wireless Mechanical Keyboard.
This keyboard comes from two popular mechanical keyboard companies from Asia, EPOMAKER and AULA. This is the latest addition to the popular Aula F75 series and features a minimalist approach by having an all black case, light grey keys on top, middle tone gray in the middle and darker tones at the bottom. There is another version all white with white, light blue and dark blue key caps.
The mechanical keyboard comes with a standard USB Type-C cable and also comes with two extra Leobog Graywood V3 switches (Note: I went for this type of switch) for this keyboard.,
While there are no letters, numbers or symbols on the top of the keycaps, once you plug the mechanical keyboard in, then you see them glowing on the bottom of the keycaps.
So, this is a 65% keyboard and yes, the arrow keys are included. The mechanical keyboard is gasket mounted so, you have the five layer of sound dampening foam materials. You get a Flex-cut PC plate to enhance the thocky sound profile and the mechanical keyboard comes with a 4000 mHz rechargeable battery.
The mechanical keyboard is tri-mode (24G, Bluetooth and Wired) and is hot swappable. This mechanical keyboard is available for the Reaper Switch or the Graywood V3’s. I went for the latter and went for the LEOBOG Graywood V3 switches because they are very responsive and great for smooth typing. This is also geared more for those who type. While the LEOBOG reaper switches are for those who want fluid keystrokes, speed and precision.
As for LED lights, you can easily change RGB backlights via FN + Tab and FN+\| key to toggle backlight effect.
But for those who are looking for a wonderful quality keyboard but also one that leans more towards the dark, minimalist style, you can’t go wrong with the EPOMAKER x Aula F65 65% Wireless Mechanical Keyboard.
