I have been in the need for a new mic for my PC and I am taking a look at the Comica Uni Pro D Wireless USB Microphone for Computer and Smartphone.
I have tried big brand mic’s, professional mics with mixers but what I am needing is a mic that can be utilized via wired USB-C or via wireless and sure enough, this mic does both.
The Comica Uni Pro D Wireless USB Microphone comes with a USB-C/USB-A 2-in-1 audio cable, a pop filter, desktop mic stand and USB receiver (USB-C).
The mic features 48 kHz/24 bit recording and features dynamic radiant RGB light with 3 unique RGB effects.
What is unique about this mic is that it has a gain control spin dial on the boottom, has real time monitoring (you can plug a mic headset into the mic – Note: I wished this allowed for headsets that used USB-A), one-key denoise (keeps distance from disturbance and make the sound recording more pure and free) and one key muting by a button on top of the mic.
I needed a mic that sounds good for podcast and I’ve tested the mic from a foot away to up-close and it sounds great.
I also tested it with the one key denoise button and sure enough the sounds of the fan behind me was not captured (my other much expensive mic would always make it sound like I was in a windy area).
The other plus is that it is USB-C and doesn’t use the old micro USB. The cable is snug and stays on.
But overall, I do like the overall look and how well this mic does perform. I do recommend getting a mic stand, especially one that can hook up to your desk, so the mic can be closer to your mouth.
For the most part, the Comica Uni Pro D Wireless USB Microphone for Computer and Smartphone turned out to be a wonderful microphone and I do recommend it.
