I have tested a lot of PlayStation Portal cases and discussed cases that are very good protective cases but never a hard shell case until now.
The Migitec Hard Shell Carrying Case Compatible with PlayStation Portal is primarily what you see is what you get. A hardshell case with protective foam for its interior. No other extras at all.
The foam padding, some portions can be detached from the bottom if you need a little more extra space.
The case is waterproof (ie. water drips but not submerged) which is also a major plus!
The hard shell case is $35 (same price as other PlayStation Portal non-hardshell cases) but this is probably the ultimate in protection that you can get unless they make a steel-hard cased version but for those who have kids or want your PlayStation Portal to be fully protected, you really can’t go wrong with this hard shell carrying case.
